I am located in Ramsey, MN, however I travel throughout the Twin Cities Metro and beyond for custom photo sessions.

Depending on the session we plan, they typically last between 1-3 hours.

I shoot most outdoor sessions starting 2-3 hours before sunset. This is the most versitle and flattering, glowy light. Indoor session times vary depending on the location. Either way, I book one session per day so yours has my complete attention, and you won't be rushed. 

I highly recommend booking early if you are wanting a specific date in the late summer or fall. Generally, my clients begin booking in March during their junior year. Consider your upcoming schedule and yearbook deadlines. The experience I offer is a process that takes time.

I book most outdoor seniors April - November.

Spring: flowers and blooming trees in April-May are a beautiful backdrop.

Summer: evening sessions are spectacular and can be shot after work and practice hours. July-August is my most popular time of year. 

Fall: sessions in September-October are a top pick. The temperatures allow for versatility, and autumn colors are dynamic.

We will keep all of this in mind as we design your shoot, but it's good to begin thinking about your preference.

Absolutely, this is one of my favorite parts of the process! I offer detailed and personal guidance for your senior experience. You will receive a Welcome Packet with a Senior Experience Guide which includes What To Expect Before & After, a Style Quiz, Tips & Tricks for Posing, and Self Care for both girls and guys. I will also be available to chat and answer questions. I want you to feel like you've just joined the club. Trust me to guide you through this experience, one you'll remember for a very long time!

After 15 years in this business, I have an array of options around the Twin Cities, North Metro and throughout Minnesota as far as locations go. I also have a process for digging-in to decide which location feels most like you and then designing your session around that.

It is not a must, but I do have hair and makeup teams to recommend if desired.

The short answer is, as many as you want! Generally, I suggest 3 outfits for most shoots, however, depending on the session, you may want to bring more. Remember the star of the photo is you, not your clothing - they just help to enhance your style. My Senior Style Guide will provide information on how to choose outfits that will not only look good but also photograph well. If you want additional help, I work with an amazing stylist who can work with you to find your style!

Yes! This is a great idea to get your entire family involved as senior year is an important time for everyone. I am careful to keep the attention on the senior during their session, but I do offer special add-on packages to do both. Many clients love this for holiday cards. Please inquire.

The Senior Portrait Experience is $295. This includes your consultation, custom session design, the Senior Prep Guides for planning, 1-4 hour shoot, my time and creative talent, professional editing of your images, and a private online gallery. 

Prints, products and digital negatives require and additional purchase. I offer several collections that include both print and digital images. Collections range from $299-$1000+ depending on your order.
